Neville Weasley headed down to Hagrid's House. He was so exicited. His
first year at Hogwarts and he was already meeting the Gamekeeper.

He knocked on the door and heard Fang bark a welcome inside. Ron, his
cousin, had told him about Fang. But it wasn't Hagrid that answered the door.
Neville Longbottom opened the door and let Neville Weasley in.

"Oh, hello," said Longbottom. "Who are you?"

      "My name is Neville."

"Oh, my name is Neville, too."

"Are you new to Hogwarts," Longbottom asked.

"Yes, I'm Ron Weasley's cousin. Do you know Ron?"

"Oh, yes. You didn't see Hagrid out there did you?"

Weasley shook his head no. Fang began to bark wildly at the fireplace.
The boys ran to the fireplace and looked up. They heard Hagrid's booming voice.

       "Oye...Who's down there?"

"Is that you, Hagrid," Longbottom asked.

"Yes, is that you Longbottom and who do you have with you?"

"Yes, it's me. I have Ron's cousin with me. What's wrong?"

"Not a big problem, I guess. I was trying to get rid of some fire-breathing
bats and seemed to have gotten myself stuck in the chimney....Can you help me
Neville?"

Weasley looked puzzled and said "Don't look at me, I don't know any magic.."
Longbottom looked nervous...it was all up to him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The other boy, who was also named Neville, looked at me distrot. What was
I supposed to do? I was no more better at doing magic than him!

"Will you hurry up, Neville?" said Hagrid. "I need to get outta 'ere by
tommorow... or Dumbledore will be quite upset."

I looked around the room, but all I could find was a big rake Hagrid used to
rake laves in fall. I took it, stuck it up the chimney, and poked him with it.

"YEOUCH!!! WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU DOING?!" Hagrid cried.

I poked him again.

"WHAT THE HEY?"

Once more...

"NEVILLE!!!"

Luckily though, Hagrid went flying out the top. I ran outside to see if he was
 ok.
